Private Hospital Association of the Philippines (PHAP) inform the public that there is no advance payment or deposit to be collected in treating patients in the midst of death.
President of PHAP, Dr. Rustico Jimenez said that Hospital must accept the patient, save and treat them ahead and set aside the money matter.
Anyone who refuses to implement this policy and found guilty is subjected to suspension or even revocation of their license.
One story happens in Manila when a couple is in need of medical assistance. Her wife is in labor and needs a medical attention. But one of the Doctors from UST rejected to admit the patient.
